Be encouraged!
As I was “calling God names” this morning (i.e. worshipping), I realized that three of the names I used to refer to Him were words that simply would not be in the dictionary were it not for the God of the Bible—because they’re only true of Him! Omnipotent... omniscient... and omnipresent! What an awesome God we serve!
Practically speaking, it shakes out like this…
Before we even start our day, we have the complete assurance that God is going to be EVERYWHERE we’re gonna need Him to be (Omnipresence). And not only will He be there, but He KNOWS exactly what needs to be done in every situation (Omniscience). And not only will He be there—knowing what really needs to be done in our situation—but He actually has the POWER to do what needs to be done to change it (Omnipotence)!
May we be filled with faith in our ALL-EVERYTHING God today!
