I must admit, y’all, that I have come to the place in my journey where I now wish that every believer would refuse to allow Jesus to be a part of their life.
For real. I wish we could all realize that the very idea of Jesus being “a part” of our life... or having “a place” in our life (even if it is first place!) is actually a biblical misnomer! Whether we recognize it or not, now that we have called upon the name of the Lord to save us—Jesus “IS” our life! (Col. 3:3-4; Gal. 2:20; 2 Tim. 1:1) We talk about “living for Jesus”—when the reality is, it’s not even our life to live (1 Cor. 6:19-20)! The intent is for the life of Jesus to now be made manifest in and through us! (2 Cor. 4:10-11).
Our lives will be different when we begin to live according to this simple, and yet, monumental spiritual reality.
