Seven Practical Principles Concerning the Discipline of Children

I don’t parade myself as an expert by any stretch...

…but if I may humbly suggest:

1. NEVER allow your kids tell you “No.”

2. ALWAYS make a distinction between what is childish irresponsibility and what is clear defiance. (Instruct the former, discipline the latter.)

3. ALWAYS discipline at the point of infraction.

4. NEVER wait to discipline until you’ve had “ENOUGH!”

5. ALWAYS discipline ATTITUDE as much as ACTION.

6 ALWAYS find your kids doing something RIGHT.

7. NEVER be afraid to say to your children, “I was WRONG. Will you please FORGIVE me?”
