Are you feeling “weary... weak-handed... and afraid” today?
This is how David’s enemy plotted against him in 2 Samuel 17:2: “I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid.“ I’ve found that this is also how our enemy plots against us!
May God help us to “be strong IN THE LORD, and in the power of HIS MIGHT” today (Eph. 6:10)! Note, not OUR strength or power... but HIS!
May we also find comfort in our warfare against the enemy today in the words of King Hezekiah in 2 Chronicles 32:7-8: “Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed... for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles.”
